Description

M2A2 Bradley with BUSK I and AN/VLQ-6 is an enhanced configuration of the U.S. Infantry Fighting Vehicle equipped with the Bradley Urban Survivability Kit I and electronic warfare jammer. The BUSK I package includes additional armor plating, slat armor panels, and enhanced protection systems specifically designed for urban combat operations. The AN/VLQ-6 Cougar electronic warfare system provides protection against improvised explosive devices by jamming radio-controlled detonation signals. This configuration was extensively used during Operation Iraqi Freedom, offering improved survivability against RPGs, IEDs, and other asymmetric threats in urban environments.
