Description

BMPT Terminator is a Russian tank support fighting vehicle designed to provide close protection for main battle tanks in urban and complex terrain. Built on the T-90 chassis by Uralvagonzavod, it features dual 30mm 2A42 autocannons, four Ataka anti-tank guided missile launchers, and two AGS-17 grenade launchers operated by dedicated crew members. The vehicle’s primary role is to engage infantry, fortifications, and lightly armored vehicles that pose threats to accompanying tanks. The BMPT incorporates advanced fire control systems, enhanced armor protection, and is specifically optimized for combined arms operations where tanks require additional support against asymmetric threats.
