Description

2S41 Drok is a Russian self-propelled 82mm mortar system mounted on the K-4386 Typhoon-VDV 4x4 armored chassis. Developed by Burevestnik Research Institute for Russian Airborne Forces, it features a remotely operated turret with an 82mm breech-loaded mortar capable of both direct and indirect fire. The system offers exceptional mobility with a firing range of 100 to 6,000 meters and a rate of fire exceeding 12 rounds per minute. With an ammunition capacity of 40 mortar rounds and a four-man crew, the Drok provides enhanced firepower for airborne and motorized rifle battalions while maintaining MRAP-level protection and the ability to dismount the mortar for ground operations.
