Description

2K22M Tunguska-M is a Russian self-propelled anti-aircraft gun-missile system mounted on the 2S6M tracked chassis. The system combines dual 30mm 2A38M autocannons with eight 9M311 surface-to-air missiles mounted on the turret sides. Designed to provide short-range air defense against helicopters, aircraft, and cruise missiles, the Tunguska-M features improved fire control systems and enhanced reliability over the original 2K22 variant. The vehicle can engage aerial targets with guns while moving but must halt to launch missiles.
